hackNY Summer Fellows Student Application

The summer Fellows program pairs quantitative and computational students with startups which can demonstrate a strong mentoring environment: a problem for a student to work on, a person to mentor them, and a place for them to work. Students enjoy free housing together and a pedagogical lecture series to introduce them to the ins and outs of joining and founding a startup. With the generous support of The Kauffman Foundation, last year we hosted a class of awesome student-hackers, who spent 10 weeks working with some great NYC startups and learning all the things they won't learn in a traditional curriculum about joining and founding a startup. Don't take our word for it though: please read the testimonials of all our startups about the Fellows' great work (and the testimonials of the students about their great experiences as part of the 2010 class of hackNY Fellows). All full-time university students who are eligible to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.Applications for the 2011 hackNY Summer Fellows Program have closed, but we invite you to join our mailing list for updates and information on the upcoming Fall 2011 Student Hackathon:
